For a variety of reasons, I have a particular fondness for the Case Select series Trapper (6254). First, the general build quality of these knives is generally a "step up" from that of the more "common" Case knives. Second, the knives have a significantly higher level of refinement. A couple examples of what I'm referring to can be found on the knife shown in the photo:

* Flutes in the bolserts.
* Clip point main blade with beautifully executed swedge and long-pull
* Improved general presentation.
