Profile Information

Profile
Fine knives are sculpture that bet to be touched and held.
They are also functional art , in that, like a classic painting, they hold your eyes, but, like a beautiful tiger, the glint of something deadly is never lost. You can get the beauty and the tiger. Cold sharp steel rests under jeweled pearl and ivory.

No
How long have you collected knives?
6- 10 years
Favorite Kind of Knives
pocketknives, particularly sunfish, muskrats and trappers, but there is no bad pocketknife. Sorry about my lack of punctuation, I am really tired. I love bowie knives and damascus steel. I also collect miniatures (tinies I call them) of any pocket knife. I love Queen, Randall knives, Bulldog, Camillus, Schrade, ColdSteel, all German brands basically. I like stag and ivory handles
About Me
I am too tired to think of a lot to say about myself. At 55, I just re-entered college last week in a Professional Medical Coding and Billing program. It runs 8 hours a day. I live on 6 acres 20 miles outside of Tucson, AZ and have for 20 years. I used to have a dog kennel, but gave that up when my husbands health failed. Now I am a full time student and watch Knives Live each show.
Interests
Collecting knives as I can afford them. I would rather save and buy one great knife than a pile of lesser ones. Also have collected skulls in the desert for years and have about 100 various ones on shelves in my room. I have assembled entire skeletions of javelina. Photography, anything forensic on TV. ALL of the conservative talk shows.
Other Hobbies
Collecting old hand tools. Painting and artwork. Have a degree in Art. Picking up trash in desert. I have found knives that way. People throw away the damndest things. My two cats. Making jewelry boxes.
