I just found a reference website. All of you seasoned collectors may already know about it or at least know the information on it, but it is going to be a tremendous help to me in learning more about knives. Particularly any other newer collectors may find it helpful also. When you log on, at the top is a row of six "books". The first two are labeled Reference and Dictionary. Anyone may access these. I am new to iKC, and thought I would describe to you my knife collecting life (which is not too long). To start with, I am a recently retired structural engineer. I worked 34 year performing stress analysis on aircraft wheels, brakes, and struts, mostly for large commercial aircraft, but also some military aircraft. SO I have complained about eBay but not enough, frankly it's overwhelming to decide what more print worthy than somethings else you see the next day.... Ergo writer's block AKA Lazy writer syndrome.....
Sorry I have been consumed too but I do have some great stats..... CASE Vintage knives are up about 20% in volume of offerings, overall Case Volume of offering has increased from 5,400 in September to over 7,000 now.
