Do you remember the first time?

Our lives are filled with a deluge of thoughts and image impressions. Our memories are, to put it in computer terms, like files on our hard drive. All day, every day, our internal video camera is recording everything our senses encounter. Just think of the shear amount of data our brains record on a daily basis and many studies conclude the brain retains this information for our lifetime.

Knives 2010, The World's Greatest Knife Book- A must have for all knife enthusiasts

While its billing as The World's Greatest Knife Book may be a little over the top, Knives 2010 is a must have for all knife lovers.



It's Krause Publications' 30th Anniversary Edition and it is chocked full of over 1000 high quality knife photos of all makes and models. (Granted 1000 pictures pales in comparison to iKC's over 5000 pictures, it is still a wonderful view of custom made knives by today's top makers.)

Here is Nessmuk's book "Woodcraft" in a 1.5mb PDF File (Below Photos)

This is the version now on the internet. It was made from the 1964 printing, and it has a ton of errors from the early OCR scanner. Nothing better is available.



A good friend has loaned me an 1894 original book, and I am scanning it now. It will take a while to do all the work, read it word for word (my 500'th reading, anyway) and make sure every word is correct.
