Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This knife belonged to a friend of mines dad who passed away a few years ago. He found it in his tool box and is trying to get some info on it. The numbers on it looks like GS3038. I cant find it in my books. He was also wondering if he should sent it to case to be repaired or leave it the way it is. Like i said I have no idea. All I know is that it is gold stone and was made around 1914.

Wow Lee, sorry to hear about your arm, I know I suffer with medical problems too. I hope Case can take time to see about this for you.

Well it is a case the slanted pinched bolsters throw me though. Personally I have never seen them on any but a new Case knife. I really like them though. I'll ask him about him contacting Case. Typing is a chore with a broken right arm. That's why I haven't been on here much.

If it's a Case knife, I would Email them and see what they think. It's certainly old enough to be treated well for a while now. Good luck with it please tell us what you find out. I love the mystery of an old knife.
