Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Jeff Saylor's self-initiative of passing our iKC invitation flyers at a recent show provides us all an excellent example of how real our virtual community actually is!

There are tens of thousands of knife enthusiasts who may be interested in connecting in a very real way here at iKC. So, I ask you print a few dozen of the new iKC Handout and take them with you wherever you go- knife shows, club meetings, knife factory open houses, hardware & knife stores...in fact, just keep a few in your back seat so when the opportunity presents itself, you have one.

The web is a vast place with billions and billions of pages. Unless you are told of a particular site, it is likely you may never know it's there. Eventually, if a place is good, word gets out but it could take several years before iKC is known and recognized as the place knife collectors call home.

We're not trying to proselyte all creation, but there are lots of folks who'd like it here if they simply knew about it.

Here's the most recent verision of the iKC Handout- it's a PDF document and is 8.5 x 11.

You don't even have to "pitch" it- the flyer says it all. Of course, a little personal testimony wouldn't hurt. :)

Thanks for helping iKC become the next generation knife collector community.

Hi everyone, I thought a good idea to spread the word about our club and also create a stronger bond between its members would be to create patches for either leather or denim vests. The top patch could be iKNIFECOLLECTORS.COM and the bottom patch where you are from, either country or state or province. Take a look at the kind of patch I mean and the price is very reasonable.

( forget about the MC part)and finally I'm sure we have excellent artists in the club that could design a great patch for the middle of the vests that represent accurately the group.

well that's my idea..especially to create a stronger bond amongst members.

Hey Guys - This is a great idea! Count me in on it. I just printed out a flyer, and I'll make abunch of copies to hand out at our annual knife show in Lewisburg, Pa. - in February. I'll also put some up on local bulletin boards when I put up our club flyers! Ain't life grand ! Have a good day. "Lonewolf"

If your a seller on Ebay...you can have links to your website in the "me" section. I don't see why you couldn't put a link to ikc there. Plus you are allowed write about things that interest you...so a little explanation or promo talk about iKC would probably help. So if your a seller on Ebay make sure you have a "me" page and do a little sales pitch about iKC and add a link.

Yeah, it was a very good idea you had. We can build off of it.

You got a pic of you and Brad? Let's see it.

That is a GREAT idea, Trent! Thanks. Got any other ideas on how we could use eBay to promote iKC? What if we sold one of the flyers or a membership. It wouldn't bring anything but if marketed properly could make folks click the auction and read out iKC....or is that too crazy :)
