Still going..... 75yrs less than a month away

I did not realize how long it had been since I had posted anything here. So its time for a bit of an update. In less than a month I will have a 75th birthday.....  I never thought I'd be here this long, although my Dad made it all the way to 91 yrs and still lived on his own. This man did not have a gray hair on his head..Still black. not quite as thick as it once was but still a full head of hair. Me,totaly grey with a ponytail more than halfway down my back. A bit thinner but not by much.

My Dr's are happy with me, losing a bit of weight has been a plus and I'm still in Arkansas. I will have been at this address  4yrs in August. It does not seem like its been nearly 4 yrs. time fly's when your having fun. we have had a lot of rain this spring, lots of rain. Oh well April showers bring May flowers...  lol.

I've not added any new knives to my present collection. I've looked at a lot but nothing catche's my attention. I have been considering a few fixed blades as there are a few that I like the looks of but they are a bit pricy. so I keep hoping maybe the price will drop a bit. then maybe I can add them to what I already have. Ya never know.  anyway enough for now I'll update a bit later on.

It's good to see that all's well, Wally.

Gives me hope that I'll get past my 65th, relatively unscathed.  Not scheduled to see my orthopedic doctor, again, until 2024.  My first hip implant is going on 28 years now, that's 8 years after the warranty expired.  ;-)

I'll see my family doctor later this month.

I plan on messing with the nurses when they do the cognitive tests.

Do you know what day it is?

Yep.

Well, what day is it?

Saturday.

Saturday, are you sure?

Yep, every day is Saturday when you're retired.

Oh well, Wally, don't be a stranger.

Good to hear from you Wally.  I guess I am still one of those younger guys...  its getting harder and harder to claim that!  LOL.

Take care
