Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

You better hold me back, cause I'm getting mad

My blood is boiling. This whole thing about the restricting of "permitted knives" is really making me mad now.

I recently posted over at CutleryNewsJournal about what will happen if the will of the people is to restrict knives- I'm talking about the majority of Americans- to the point Congress doesn't fight this left-wing attack on our rights.

Well, now, the general public is getting in on the discussion and it's getting ugly. To date, the only "conversation" I have found web wide was from pro-knife folks- in the knife forums, iKnifeCollector, YouTube and traditional knife pubs- but now the mainstream media is beginning to write about this action of the Custom Service.

Obviously throughout the knife world- online and off- the comments are pro-knife, well, now that everyone is is getting in on it, they are not pro-knife anymore. And if you want to see the seniment of these other folks all you have to do is read some of their comments against knives and in favor of restricting them further.

Check out this post on by Bob Barr, a writer for the Atlanta Consti...

After the Obama Administration is through with us, I'm afraid only the apes will have knives.

I can believe it. Unfortunately, it isn't the folks in the blue that are going to come after us, if our knives are ever confiscated. It the UK they had "amnesty days" where you could drop you knife off (turn it in) without being fined or arrested.

Checkout the attached map. Shows the counties that voted Repub and Dem, last year. Notice that the Dem counties are largely around major metro areas. As long as the people in these cities rely on the govt handouts, and the Democrats promise of FREE EVERYTHING, they will continue to vote Democrat.

I saw that. On another discussion, someone used the term "Sheeple". America is becomming a nation of "SHEEPLE". As long as over 50% of the population is taking handouts from the govt, nothing will change.
I recieved this, this morning and forwarded it out. Thought that you might like it too.

From what I understand, I agree J.J. So, now the only way to fight this is to get Congress to change it....see my comment above about my concern about that.

I hear ya Brian, but unfortunately, we have a MAJOR left leaning going on right now and my gut feeling is there are too many folks across our county who can't think for themselves and who will think banning our "pointed weapons" are probably a good thing....just to be on the "safe side." The make-up of America is different today, as is evident by this past election. I mean, not to talk politics here, BUT look at who got elected- only THE most liberal congressman that was! That fact tells us a lot about the "will of the people" in American right now. That is my biggest concern.

It's not a proposal and it doesn't have to pass.
Customs will implement the changes to the regulations if they aren't convinced otherwise.
I still say that this is an administration tactic to circumvent the Congress and get an ultra left agenda established.
5 months they done took over the banks, auto industry, working on screwing up health care.
Hey, an unarmed population are slaves.
