TSA Knives is thinking “SFO HUNTING KNIFE”
Hess Knifeworks was established in 2005, after many years of working for other knife companies. Whether we are building our own brand or working on someone else's knives, our goal remains the same, and that is to make high quality "Made in the USA" bench made custom knives.
Greg is asking…how would YOU modify this knife?

That looks pretty doable JJ. It would need a thinning out of the grind as well though if you reground the blade like that.

I think that some finger grooves in the handle, or a knurled pattern in the wood to improve the grip would be nice.

Ricky took my next idea with the finger grooves (great minds think alike), so I will say a slightly longer blade length would make it more appealing to me.

I think the handle is a bit long and the blade too short. Say like a 3 1/2 to 4 " blade. I like the drop point blade, but as a multi-purpose knife a little longer would be useful. Some jimping on the top. I have one of your knives I bought at a knife store in Gladstone. It is a stacked leather about the size of the old Marbles WoodCraft. Very nice knives.

The Blade shape is fine, although would prefer an inch or so longer. The handle could be shorter but would look great wider and slightly flared at the end to enhance your grip!

Very nice knife, I would suggest a slightly bigger hand swell, otherwise the rest of it is personal opinion and we all know how that is!

Hearing and seeing some good ideas in here. Greg took a look also. We decided it will be a random drawing since he would continue to look at the ideas over time and may in fact use more than one so keep the ideas coming!
