Woah!  That last post is hard to follow!  I might be one of the only people with a Kabar collection that does not include any Mark 2's (though I am planning to pick up one of the Space Force models soon).  Actually the only old Kabar I own is a small hunting cleaver, complete with original leather sheath.  I love the Beckers, the Heavy Bowie & the Heavy Duty Warthog, the Zombie Knives (ZK's) -- especially that ZK Mule lockback -- & of course the Parangatang!

I missed out on the Coppersmith 6199 lockback about 5-10 years ago.

But I really wish Kabar would bring back the Grizzly!  When was the last time the Grizzly was in production (anyone here know)?  Why don't they give it another production run?  It would be immensely popular, & no doubt cheaper & easier to make such a reliable large locking folder...

And since I'm asking questions, what's with Cutco's decision to make Kabar-styled knives with inferior materials at severely high prices?  I know Cutco basically owns Kabar, but I have no idea what they're doing making tactical / outdoors knives out of 440A & charging over $200 a pop...Those knives shouldn't sell, but they do.
