Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

For those who missed it, Smoky Mountain Knife Works ("SMKW") recently performed an upgrade on the point of sale portion of their website, right after their Memorial Day sale.  Their website overall remained up & running, and you could items to your cart -- but you couldn't actually make any purchases online.  As a courtesy, I assume, they removed their daily "Flash Sales" so as to cause fewer problems for them & less confusion for their customers.

And while this upgrade was planned, it appears the process took much longer than planned.  From the outgoing message posted on the Flash Sales page, the outage seems to have been planned for only about two days; in reality, the process took over a week.  That said, they're back up now, & having a sale through Father's Day that includes "free shipping on most orders, some exclusions apply".  And orders of $50 or more get a free SMKW shop mat in desert tan / coyote / sand or as many of us call it, beige.

I ordered 4 of the Marbles Black Stag Bone series  from them last Week. They charged a little over 3 dollars shipping on the order.  After I placed the order I noticed a discount code so I called them and asked if it could be applied to the order. They said NO. I always miss out on free stuff but that is life!  Anyway for less than $20.00 each the Marbles Black Stag Bone I am satisfied.  They look good & I never use the knives I buy for my collection. I have a few plugs that I tote. Thanks for the Info!

Okay, that's a bummer, Mike.  $3 isn't bad, but it's still more than $0.  I wouldn't have guessed they'd charge shipping on that, but at least it wasn't their usual $8+.  I'm glad you were able to pick something up regardless.  Happy to help!
