Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone and welcome to our newest members,

Something we have not talked about lately is new aquisitions.  Tell us about your latest and greatest GEC.  Donnie bought me both the new 23's in the Beavertail (Worlds greatest husband by the way)  He got himself the newest 73 in Primitive bone.  THAT is a heck of a nice knife.

What have you gotten lately?

That is some beautiful Stag there Chris

Nice #72 Chris!

great looking knives guys keep'em coming love the pictures........

That stag is awesome, definitely a winner!!!

Here is my latest find and addition to the expanding collection.  It is a Tidioute Cutlery  with 1095 Carbon Steel Patriot #735108.  I liked the way it looked so I bought it.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.  Keep yours coming as I enjoy your selections and reasons why.

Clint,

That Patriot will be right at home with you.  The 73 is just a useful pattern and perfect pocket carry.  I prefer the 1095, it seems to be easier for me to put an edge on that than on the Stainless Steels (not that I have to often :)

Lots of nice knives guys!!

Johnny, I do need a powderhorn... this isn't it but I like it just the same :)

I also found a deal on some #33 Conductors I couldn't pass up

Clint,

Nice Patriot! I didn't like those a few years ago and they have progressively grown on me! I won a #25 with a sheepsfoot main blade from one of the GEC distributors about a year ago and then picked up one of the #73's with the end cap. Then I got the other #73 with no end cap and also a #73 prototype Patriot. Recently I picked up the #25 Patriot with a spear main blade. The acrylic handles feel great in hand and I think that they look great too! They always remind me and make me proud of the great country we live in too. Awesome find! I'd like to see a lockback #72, a #56 dogleg jack and maybe a big #23 with Patriot handles.

Trand,

Sweet looking Teamsters Jack my friend! Nice conductors too! I have been tempted by the HJ6's but have had to say no at least for awhile. I need to make at least one of my conductors a user but it's hard to decide which one. You have two nice examples there. I'd like to see GEC add one more blade to the Conductor to make it a whittler too!

Thanks Tom. Me too, I think the #33 frame would make a great whittler. I think its just a matter of time until they make it happen.

Tom...

Thanks.  I am real happy with this knife.
