Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I will be going next week to the factory to work at station to station to get a better handle of the manufacturing end of business. I am a salesman and marketing strategist so I haven't had the opportunity to grasp the concept of the entire manufacturer process start to finish. I will be posting my adventure on here daily. So please check this discussion every day for pictures and updates.

Great idea! First thing: enjoy the trip!

Ryan,

That sounds exciting and I'm sure it will prove to be quite beneficial in rounding out your experience as a salesperson in the future. It always helps to obtain a grasp of what those in the trenches are dealing with in order to bring a product from concept to realization. It will give you a greater appreciation for the product you're selling and then you can pass on that aspect of quality and detail to your prospective buyers.

I'll look forward to some photographs and insight into the day to day operations at the Queen factory. Have a great trip and enjoy yourself! I know that I would love to have such an opportunity!

Cheers, my friend!

Ron

Best way to know a business is from the bottom up!  Have fun!

Check to make sure they are putting the Peanut back into production. LOL!

Craig,

Im pretty sure that a peanut will coming out for a customer in a SFO in the next few months.

Ryan,

That is so cool!  I think you will have fun there and learn a great deal about a different type of factory.  Very exciting and I am very happy that you will be sharing it with us.  Thank you

Sounds like a great idea Ryan best of luck in doing this work and we look forward to your updates as time goes by. Really its a great way for all of us to know about Queen right along with you.

Can't wait to get your take on the process.
That is a great opportunity to see things from start to finish. It will give you an excellent firsthand view on things. It will also give you a chance to know the people that are responsible for making great knives. Have fun.

Well today was very fun for me. I didn't actually work any stations today but got to know people I hadn't met yet. Today it was amazing to pull up to the factory and look around and just take in that this was ours. Knifing and Antiquing was always Dad and I's special time together and one of my favorite things to do was buy out a old barn or buy a huge collection with too much stuff to go through while we were buying it. This would be the time me and Dad would treasure hunt as we nicknamed it. Well today it was like being a kid again going on a treasure hunt I explored all day. I was even up on the roof at one point as I found a ladder.

Thanks for the update, Ryan! I cannot tell you how much I envy your adventure. I won't even try. Have fun, my friend!
