Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I know I'm not the only one.  I love the Scout knives.  I don't care if you call it the Camillus C-4 pattern, Boy Scout knife, camp knife or what have you; I think it is one of the greatest and long lived patterns out there.

Just about every knife maker in the world has made one so no matter what brand you collect you should have at least one Scout/camp/hobo.  and if you don't have one and you go hiking, camping, fishing or some other type of outdoor activity what knife are you carrying in you pocket and what have you done with it?

Here is one of mine.  It is the Case Scout Jr. (one of the few that probably won't be carried.)

Its pretty good size, but a short base, very usable. Like Tobias says, you get what you pay for.

I think they are around 3.5 inches closed which makes it pretty good considering it has a full sized fork and teaspoon

If anyone is interested, there's a 4 line Camillus Hobo on Ebay, that may go cheap and has no Reserve. I have one, already, if not I'd be after it. The #360724098222. Good hunting.

360724098222  is up to $58 and change right now!

Well, it's going up. It had been low, for a long while. That's, still cheap, for one.

Well my WWII Ulster Hobo is here. I'll share photos latter. I love it but I'm singing that song " I'm in the poor house now"..lol  No, but with college and a car and now a lap top computer, those grand girls are getting into my knife money...lol

Grandkids have a way of doing that, but its worth it.

This is my new vintage Ulster Hobo. It's tight as a drum and full. I love it.

Here is my collection of very old vintage Hobo's. A Camillus, a Ulster and a German. I am not sure of the markings and brand. I love em. Now, I'm a real Hobo....lol

Yep, if you got three you have a collection. Wish those Hobo's could talk and tell us their stories. Real nice Hobo's Robert.

Vary impressive, Robert.  I'm jealous!
