wow that is some thick stag really nice tom....
I got mine Friday. The stag is very similar to yours Tom. Beautiful knife. One of the first things I noticed is how much easier it opens compared to my 23 and 73 GEC's.
She's stunning. Can't wait for mines to come in.
Tom
I'm glad you like the knife. Yes the knife ended up being a tight fit in the tubes once we put the entire package in it. I was hoping to iron this bug out in future runs and certain knives will fit like a glove. I saw the comment about the all the stag matching up really well. We are going to strive to give you this with every TVCC stag knife so that you always know it going to be killer stag. I hope everyone enjoyed the contest we only need less than 20 more to finalize it. Also like I said before with the fast response to the contest and for the first give away on here from us I have arranged something very special so I think the winner will be very happy.
Knice! Knice! Knice!
That is a nice knife...I didnt get a chance to get one but i will find one they look sweet
Edgardo, this one will probably be a shelf queen. Since it is the premier Tuna Valley knife I want to keep it new - at least for awhile. I have enough other #72 spear blades (like the iKC club knife) that I can use if I want to. I am impressed with the quality build of the knife and the uniformity of the handles from what I saw in the What's Happening part of GEC's website.
Thanks for all of the compliments folks. I just bought the knife - Ken & Ryan made it happen.
To all of you Case fans I apologize for disrespecting your knives in my earlier post. We are all knife lovers here at iKC and I shouldn't need to put the knife that you like down. I just really like GEC's and now TUNA VALLEY CUTLERY!!!!
Tom
Tom, you are a doomed man.
I am trying to stay away from these knives, but the pull is too strong. I will end up with a few I imagine, thank the wallet I don't have any money right now.
I can't wait to watch your collection grow!!!
These are going to be so limited that I image they will be hard to find for awhile
I hope that they space out their production so I can afford to keep buying them at least once in awhile and still remain faithful to my GEC's. I think if Ken and Ryan listen to the collectors wants and maintain this high level of quality then they should have no problem selling Tuna Valley Cutlery knives. If they continue to use GEC as the manufacturer of their knives buying them will be a no brainer for me. IMHO as long as they stick with a manufacturer known for their quality or start doing it themselves their following will continue to grow.
