I think what really hurt was watching a knife seller go out of business.

Tobias, sounds like an awesome score you got. Wish we had finds like that as the swap markets have slim pickings over here lol
I'll need to look at it again. Like I said I got the Stockman a while back. A guy was going out of business (an online seller of all sorts of Rough Riders) I picked up a good five or six knives and the kit for around $25. I recall the purchase also included a black pearl sleeve board whittler and a red bone marlin spike. Can't recall the rest but I felt guilty buying them for so little.
There is an instructional page included in the kit as to what tools are needed, from memory there was nothing overly special required
