My prefered Rough Rider model (till now) is the Canoe with brown Gunstock checkered bone.

@tobias i know what ya mean..sometimes i will get a fella so desperate for grocery money that he wil lay say a 150$ GEC tube on me for 50$.. i will end up buying it,feel bad, abnd then still  paypal him another 25$ or so...

BUT i also agree with KEN in not feeling guilty about it.. i know it does stink watching good sellers go undeer but lots of timees ,this has bveen the very reason i could afford some of the knives i own...

not to mention that i have been the guy ...hasnt been awhiile as i really watch my knife budget these days.. but that gy that is in sudden panic to sell 2 knives to buy one... thats when i dont feel so guilty.. selling your hard collected knivs for food. gets to me. if your just running around every forum and club trying to sell 3 knives as fast as you can for a new custom... then guilt doesnt even come into the factor.. the WHEELIN AND DEALIN COMES OUT!!!...LOLOL!

Unless you have a political objection to knives made in China, it really is hard to find fault in Rough  Riders.  My only other complaint is there are so few options for certain patterns, especially their Camp/Scout knife.  It only comes in red jigged bone and amber jigged bone.  The pattern should be better exploited.   I've got similar complaints for the Marlin spike and the large toothpick  but I can understand that these are less popular patterns.

When you consider how many sunfish and barlows they make, it is hard to justify just two Scout/Camps!

Welcome to the addiction. Like many here I have discovered RR to be quality knives and IMHO worth more than the price I paid. I would not hesitate to use any one of them for EDC, not something I can say of others knives in my collection.

My only grip with RR is I don't live close to SMKW so I can only find them through mail order. Wish Academy would be up a contract to carry them.

Hi guys, I'm not a big RR collector (till now), as far I own only 3. But after I red here about them I ordered a few more ;-)

I'll show you my few RR soon on the Show thread.

As some of you, I'm also very astonished about their quality. These are definitely not China crap.
