SMOKY MOUNTAIN KNIFE WORKS MEMORIES

This group began as we followed Knives Live together and had some fun.  I have made the choice for it to remain as a place to put up pics of members trips, deals, and SMKW discussions

From what I recall -- he was a local gentleman who lived near by who hand makes tool without the use of any modern power.  That is no electric grinders and truly  steel hammered by hand.  I believe Sam Stoner is Amish.

Oh Jeez, Steve,   Now I'm go home and dig out my old catalogs. Pretty sure it was in 2012, maybe September or October But I really need to look.

Still waiting for the big announcement!  Back to thinking it'll be worth the wait and then some!

As for Le Porc.  It is well worth the $8.99 and then some.

and considering the number of mushroom knives I currently own, I think I can I have some knowledge of the pattern now!

I now think it is just the line of knives SMKW is making for Southern Belle.  Well that was announced by Southern Belle a day ago!  If that's all this hype is about, I'll be disappointed.  I already knew about that!

Got mine today in the mail.  I agree with you Tobias, they already are carrying camo gun cases, and BB guns.  I think they are phasing things in.

Now I'm leaning toward Southern Belle Brass Inc instead of Buds.  Who knows, maybe they've made deals with both!

Still nothing.  I guess I'll need to request one.  In other SMKW news -- I'm speculating (based on a cryptic note by Josh Hill on Facebook)  That SMKW is going to start selling firearms!  I think they might be merging with Bud's Gun Shop or something another.   Let's see is my hunch unfolds.
