Dead, from what I have read they previously used a hollow grind for the scandi edge causing it be somewhat weak. The one I got had a flat scandi and cuts very well and has had no problems with chipping. Iv used it to cut wood and it has kept its edge very well. Chicka chicka boom boom!  Nice!  I saw a review about the edge being thin & rolling easy, & that this knife is not really capable of handling wood carving.  I am hoping that model review was just an early prototype & that Cold Steel has put more into it since it went into mass production.  

What are your thoughts on this one?  I dig the concept of a folding bushcrafter, especially at the prices I've seen for the Finn Wolf folder.  How is it in execution????
