Thanks for the information John . It is a good shaver I think , my lack of experience means my opinion is a little suspect . I honed it for the first time last weekend , previously I had only stropped it , and it certainly seems to be sharp now !

John-A great old razor and highly collectible as a high quality shaver. Krupp was a name used by Osborne, Garrett & Co.circa-1899-1923, although some evidence points to production both before and after those dates.Made in Sheffield, they were either ground in Sheffield, or ground in Solingen, Germany, depending on vintage. These were not fancy straight razors, designed more for the everyday man, but are still highly regarded as a very high quality shaver with a high blade retention and sharpness. An awesome find  !!
