I think we all would like to see those knives, Gary. We adore a good knife even if it belongs to you.

Love to see some pics Gary

Ni knives in the mailbox this week :(.  Someone share a knife with me please?  I think this is what withdrawal feels like

I have a tie: (1) is a Fruitport Scagel (under KSF Auspisces, made by GEC), with a smooth oiled bone handle and a single wharncliffe blade; (2) is my #73 slipjoint, genuine stag. I adore both knives. They both feel just right in the hand and in the pocket, and they are both razor sharp and up to every task, at least for me. When I get my picture taking together, I will send some pics.

 Here they are.

I adore that smooth oil bone!  That is an awesome fruit knife.  Not everyone makes those any longer

Gary, you have a nice patina on that blade and white smooth bone handles are one of my favorites. Real nice knife!

Ha..tell me about it, I am very handicapped, without my grand girls there's alot on here I couldn't do. How is that Scagel? I don't have one made by them.

I love that Scagel. Beautifully made, with that wonderful 48 pattern augmented by the Wharncliffe. It has a sturdy backspring, with a great half-stop. Sometimes, of course, I may need something bigger or a lockback, but usually this Scagel is all I need.

Gary,

LOL, I have experienced the same thing with photos.  But since you did it as an attachment it is fine.  If you want to do it inside the discussion, contact me and I will walk you through adding it and making it a little smaller

Thank you, Jan. I may have to take you up on that walk through.
