Case russlock with similar scrimshaw as my last piece...just slightly different.  This one has factory smooth natural bone vs my copperlock was rehandled by me.

I found some amazing kits to learn scrimshaw!  I just had to share them, seems there are many versions

The Mollyjogger kits come with the knives assembled.  They are available in a Trapper, a lockback and a sunfish

Choose from knife style:  Lock-back (3 5/8” closed) or Trapper (4 1/8” closed).

Chuck, about that tooth being resin or actual tooth. I found this:
