I first got into Benchmade knives not by buying one knife here and there, but purchasing 6 in one day. I just got out of debt and had a zero balance on my credit card and said to myself, "Why not, let the addiction begin".

MDP stands for Modified Drop Point which is referring to the blade shape. I am glad to hear that you like the griptilian. It is a great knife.
