We are the EveryDay Carriers!

We here at the EDC Club are the side of the knife hobby who are the "Users." We are the EveryDay Carriers. Yes, we probably have one or two stuck back either due to sentimental reasons, or the knife was one of those- "just couldn't say no" when we first saw it and now it is a trophy knife in our possession, BUT, for the most part, we are users.

It's hard for us to imagine spending hundreds, thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars on knives - then stashing them away and not putting them to task, like they were made for. We help knives fulfill their destiny! Yes, they get scratched, tips broken off, and lost, but sitting there collecting dust, all the while its screaming to be carried and used- not our knives.

Granted we may rotate our EDC's in and out based on what we are doing for the day, or our moods, and may even retire one every now and then, but use them we do and are proud of it!

Nice looking Bucks, John.

Hi.  It seems like there haven't been any posts for a while.  I hope it gets active again.

I carry one of the Buck impacts every day.  (upper right three knives).  I sometimes carry 2 knives at once:  an Impact and the Kalinga Folder on the left row next to the fixed blade Kalinga.

Captain I like your selection. I carry the Executive as well. I even have a new in the box Executive for when the other has worn out. In 30 years on three continents it has not failed. Thanks for sharing Captain.

I carry 4 EDC's every day of the week. I usually change them out on Sunday morning by a cup of coffee & a Pop-Tart. I keep them in knife slips to protect them a bit. This week's carries pictured here.

I habitualy carry a minimum of 2 knives. Where and when I'm going to be also dictates what I carry. My job requires me to go places that can be rather in hospitable, so on those occasions I'm usually wearing a Bastenelli Creations karambit neck knife, Kershaw Emerson 4XL, a CRKT Dragon's Claw and a Leatherman surge in my bag. A Fox knives karambit rides in the cargo pants pocket when worn.
