Life, Knives and Fellow Collectors

As I turned another year younger earlier this month I have reflected on my travels through life's passages and I've found the flame for enjoying our hobby is always burning. Yeah, there are times it burns brighter than others, but it's always there.

One Exception to my Observation has been noted in 10.5 years

Gil Hibben has done 2 large knives for the EXPENDABLES movie and one small folder. The large knives are a Arkansas style toothpick and a large bowie with full scrimshaw. The folder is an auto assist I rehandled with the same scrim. Stallone will also wear a pendant with the scrim. I got to scrim all the knives and made a custom cigar cutter for Stallone shaped like a skull with full scrim. The cutter was a wrap gift and is not in the movie but all the rest made the cut...HutcH Continue
