Shortly after #14 it is time for #15. Actually, I was working on these two brothers at the same time.
At first #15 was planneed to be with one whole piece of acacia for handle, but I decided it was too poor. So I cut the piece in two, removed the metal guard, put two pieces of twisted oak, cut corian guard and heel and added stainless steel spacers. This was assembled and disassembled about 3413873165 times, utill it fitted (almost) as I wanted it to fit.…

The Canadian belt knife is gone to his new owner and it was time to start making the new knife. Since I'm obsessed with the minions - of cource the next knife is a tiny one.
The steel is 1.2379 (D2), hardened up to about 60HRc. Sapele and black corian handle, impregneted with linseed oil and polished with carnauba wax. The sheath is calf blank, oiled with Vaseline to stay soft and to prevent absorbing moisture.
OAL - 160mm, blade only - 70/27/3,7mm.…
