Need to keep the duck for inspiration. 

After you master it, you'll be able to see how far you've come, then if you want, you can make some toothpicks.

Well J.J. I have started carving my first duck. Believe it or not I had to borrow a knife from a carver. The way it looks right now I ought to throw it in the highway, run over it for road kill, and cook that sucker or better yet use it for toothpicks.  Nay, I going to stick with it a little longer. Hate giving up.
