Poor PaPaw, are you adding to the girls cottage?
By, by knives.....I think we are adding on to the cotage, oh lord, help me. I can do it, yes I can do it. LOL. I'll keep ya'll posted on my progress. Poor PawPaw...
Lee,
Thats what I call a dinner. Makes my mouth water
Yea man, I'm a gravy man...lol
It got so cool in California that I pulled a turkey out of my freezer and roasted it. So tonight is turkey, potatoes, asparagus, lots of gravy and rolls.
Boil the asparagus just enough to make it brighten up and then fry it on high heat. Make it hot enough to melt grated parmesan cheese. Add some fresh white corn cut straight from the cob and that's dinner!!
And actually roasting the turkey is just an excuse to make the gravy.
Donnie had a craving so tonight was lasagna. Made one for the freezer and couple for friend while I was at it.
Robert,
I will post a recipe or two tomorrow also :)
That's a great bell pepper there Miss Sue, I plant sweet banana peppers also, they produce alot more early. I have been picking alot of figs recently, it's like candy on a bush..lol....I plan on posting an old Cajun corn recipe later.
I am eating alot of stuff out the garden, fresh veggies and fruits. The figs have just started and we have been picking blue and straw berries. Oh, cucumbers and tomatoe salad, you bet. Corn, squarsh and my favorite snap beans. Poo-Yie, dats good, yah...lol
Hog,
I keep apples and banana's on hand. I may be on the run but still gotta eat!!
Father's day?
Boiled shrimp, asparagus, deviled eggs, yellow rice, Cantaloupe, blackberries and blueberries. Thats what the table looks like for dinner tonight :)
