Robert,
That is an everyday type of meal for us during the week. I like it, especially when all good fruits are in and its hot outside!
Well Miss Jan, they had fruits, veggies and cheese. It was sorta buffet style. Everything was raw, oh except for some cookies and crackers. It was good, I enjoy that type of meal some times.
Some of the ones, that are available now, are soft. Best pits come out around the middle-end of June to the middle of July. We bought a basket of local peaches, only found 1 whole pit so far (the others have been split). See lesson 3 in the Pit Carving discussion.
Wait till later in the season for the best pits. (Peaches taste sweeter around this time too.
Keep us posted, frank.
Well JJ I broke my first peach pit. Will try again later.
Cant wait to hear about that menu Robert
I sent out for Pizzas tonight, not to dirty the kitchen. On Mothers Day, we are going to her sisters in another town [Lafayette, La.]. They are city slickers, no telling what we will eat...lol
Taking her OUT tomorrow, after church
I'll be right there J.J.!
Not a darn thing Robert LOL. Donnie is working, I did a turkey breast today and the black and blue berries and cantaloupes are here. Throw in a salad and I am set for the week
Any of you guys cooking something for the Mothers on Mothers Day?
