I was thinkin on some white onion to add.  That relish do look good...hadn't had any good chow-chow since my mom passed.

 

Roberts next building project will be the covered walkway from house to cottage...

then they'll have him wall it in too...

No, the youngest one will stay with us in the house. The cotage is just across the yard so I'm sure they will get together alot. When I built my house, I made it a two bed room with large rooms. I had no idea I would be raising two grand childern. This just lets us spread out a little...lol

We love Chow Chow too.  This is a little less thick and is more of a Hot pickle relish.  You should try it Robert.  Are both girls going to be in the cottage Robert?

That pepper relish looks like a cajun dish called Chow chow. We started moving furniture in the cotage today.
