I always use the terms interchangeably.
Nothing better than cold apple jack.

We called hard cider "hard cider" and it had a good punch to it. But what we called apple jack was more potent and a higher % of alcohol.

Sounds like fun, guys. We call Hard Cider, "Apple Jack". I am not sure if that's correct?

Oh wow, it's been YEARS, too many years, since I had "hard Cider"! Wish I could sit and have a sip with you Robert!

When I was in High School, I milked cows for a neighbor who also made lots of Apple Jack and Apple Cider - hard. In the morning I would see his light on in the basement, he would be nipping the cider, when I had all the cows milked, I would head home and the light would still be on and he would still be there. He was a great man, even though he like his hard cider.

We picked all the apples off of my trees and made Apple Jack { cider spirits} . We will end up with 6 gallons or so. It's only about as strong as a beer. Next comes the bottling and ageing. We will have a little nip by fall. Anyone else make homemade spirits?

Ice Cream. That's all I have to say.
