baked fish and sweet potatoes!
Our grille fell apart, and we have to get a new one. So, today we had spicy chicken from Wang's Kitchen.
Ribs, BBQ beans. French fries.
Sounds like a great party, to honor our vets. My dad was a World War II Vet, I was so proud of him as a boy. Thanks, Miss Sue, for reminding us the reason for the season. Tell, Don, thanks for his service.
Fruit for me. Too tired to cook and no visitors this year.
This evening we had kind of block party, My neighbor Don is a Vietnam vet..So we invited him his wife and Chris a neighbor across the street...So in 1.5 hours notice...we had steaks marinating in my secret stuff...baked potato's cooked and in foil to go on grill, half corn on the cobs cooked buttered in foil ready to go on grill, and I made a big batch of stove baked beans with fresh yellow peppers. we also had pop and chips with spinach dip and lots of great conversation, Don let us know how his war experience went and also the rough stuff on arriving home with the protesters spitting on him etc.
I thanked him for his service in keeping our nation free.
Remember your Vets!
oh! we did have these chocolate cupcakes with ANTZ rings on top...we all had blue mouths and tongues from the icing....ROFL
