Wish me luck, folks.

Headin to the mountains for a few days to try to escape the heat.  Takin' a few extra green-backs, that I've managed to put back, hoping to fine something new in the sharp and pointy catagory.  SMKW is not in the picture but there are a couple of well supplied hardware stores nearby...

While we're gone, Uncle Silas will be minding the store.

Well I just bought a portable house for my oldest grand daughter to live in. I'll be busy for a while. My friends and I will wire, insulate, A/C, and the carpentry thats left to do. She is very exited, so am I. I put it on my land near my house, great spot. I'll post a picture soon. Darn, think of the knives I could have bought. Oh well, I guess that's what old paw paws are for.

We're heading to PA near the end of the month.  The roadside stands there are great.  There's a stand, down the road from where we stay, that will sell homemade chicken-pot-pie, along with fresh corn. (Already have a couple of lunches planned...)
