This blog is written to share my experiences regarding the operation of my small knife business.  Some of the experiences are good, some are not good, and some are in the middle somewhere.  I would say my business is not a success yet because my expenses are larger than my income.  However I am not going to quit yet, because I don’t think I have given it enough time.  I am lucky I don’t need to do this for a living.

I finally purchased this Russell "Daddy" Barlow.  About 5" long when closed with great saw cut handles, Russell with the arrow thru the "R" is etched on the blade as if it just came from the factory.

The tang has the Russell logo in a diamond shape, and the "R" with the arrow is emblazoned.

What is almost as nice as this 'minty' knife?  It came wrapped in the original waxed-paper covering sitting in the original Russell box that displays the logo for John Russell Green River…

I have a reverse tang stamp on a buck folding hunter which I think dates it 1968-1970 I'm having trouble getting any info on if this is correct and value of such a knife ? Any help out ther people?

I am a gun and knife collector and would like to know if anybody knows if the Case Knife Company ever produced a John Wayne Bowie Knife.  I own a Chief Crazy Horse Knife and gun and was told Case made a John Wayne knife that looked a great deal like the Crazy Horse.

One day not long ago a customer told me this true story.  He had a rather valuable knife with him and forgot to leave it in the car when he was flying out on a commercial aircraft.  He got all the way to the security guards and they of course found the knife and would not let him past the security gate.  He did not have enough time to take the knife back to the car or he would miss his flight.  He pleaded with the guards to hold it for him, send it to him and pay them handsomely to do this,…
