Couldn't get into the parade this year. Did get to see an awesome fireworks display in the mountains.

Want to thank Miss Maude and Uncle Silas for running things while we were gone. They'll be filling in again. The crew and I will be going back to the mountains at the end of this week also, and head to Pennsylvania the week after.

That is good JJ.
Ya know, as a kid my dad's auction biz had a truck a lot like that...with the sign on the back and all....brings back memories. Plus, we'd have a lot of auctions over the years on July 4th. I'll eventually find the pic and come back to post it of our truck.

Big John and the crew are taking a few days off, to unwind and relax, up in the mountains, for the 4th of July weekend.
Gonna try to get in a little knife shopping if the "Boss Lady" will let me. If not I plan on picking up a bushel of peaches on the way up, so either way I won't be bored.

Uncle Silas will be running things at the store and Maude will take care of the diner while we're gone.

We'll be taking the RPV with us. We added a message board to the truck and are going to try to sneak into the Independence Day Parade.

Looks good huh?

Plan on looking at the fireworks from the pool at the "NO TELL-MOTEL", Saturday night.

Hope you all have a great 4th of July weekend & be safe.
